Spa Policies
Arrival Policy
To fully benefit from your service, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. Your service will begin promptly at the time you reserved. Late arrivals will result in a shortened treatment time so that other guests are not inconvenienced. For waxing appointments, arrivals more than 10 minutes late are subject to being rescheduled due to time constraints specific to waxing services.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
We have a 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. A credit card or gift card with a balance covering the full amount of all reserved appointments may be used to secure your reservation. If you need to make changes to your appointment, we kindly request a minimum 24-hour notice. We charge 50% of the total cost of all appointments rescheduled within 24 hours of the start time. We charge 100% of the total cost of all appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the start time that are not rescheduled. If you do not show up or do not call letting us know you cannot make it, we charge 100% of the total cost of all appointments. All fees are charged to the credit card or gift card on file. You may send someone else to receive services in your place to avoid cancellation fees provided they receive and pay for the same services you reserved. Credit card information remains on file in a secured server for future appointments unless you request we delete it.
Same Day Shortening of Services
Same day shortening of appointment times can be accommodated, however, we reserve the right to charge for the full amount of the original booked service since this time was reserved specifically for you and may go unfulfilled.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates may be used at all Spa Concepts Salon & Spa locations and must be presented at the time of service. If you are unable to present the gift certificate, an alternative form of payment will be required. Spa Concepts Salon & Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. Spa Concepts Salon & Spa gift certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
Return Policy
Products may be returned within 14 days to any Spa Concepts location, provided the original purchase was made at a Spa Concepts location. Products must be unopened and unused. Any product that has been opened or used is not eligible for return or for credit. Any products purchased through aveda.com must be returned through Aveda.
Children Policy
We love babies, but due to the uncertainty of their behavior, they are not permitted in the salon or spa. Children are permitted in the salon or spa area if they are booked for a service. Children must be at least six years old to receive a service, are expected to be on their best behavior, and must be supervised by an adult guardian at all times. For safety reasons and insurance purposes, no child under the age of 12 is permitted in the spa unless booked for a service. We do not have facilities to care for children and hope you understand we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the experience of our other guests. If your child has a history of being loud or unruly in public, please consider leaving them in the care of others so that you and our other guests can enjoy themselves while visiting Spa Concepts.
Minors
If you are under the age of 18 or making an appointment for someone under the age of 18, please inform us when booking services. Certain service professionals are not comfortable working on minors. Parents may not be permitted in treatment rooms unless agreed to in advance. A parent must sign for any minor for any service requiring a consultation or release of liability form.
Smartphone Use Policy
In consideration of other guests and to ensure a relaxing spa experience for yourself, we ask that you silence your cell phone and refrain from speaking, participating in live video conversations, or playing any audio or video without the use of headphones. Guests who use a smartphone in such manner will be gently asked to refrain from smartphone use or continue using their smartphone outside.
Personal Belongings
Spa Concepts is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items.
Locker and Shower Facilities
Locker and shower facilities are available at our Ashley Ridge and Bossier locations.
Spa Parties
We request that spa parties arrive 30 minutes prior to their first appointment. Spa parties have complimentary use of the party room on a first-come basis. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties. Spa parties are subject to a 72-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. Discounts and new guest $20 off cards may not be used for spa parties.
